Team Member- Panera

About the role

Team Member in Operations, reporting to the General Manager. Seasonal positions are available April 1 through September 30; seasonal employees receive Flex (Sick Time), Earned Wage Access, Employee Referral Bonus, and Meal Discount only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and engage in positive, helpful interactions with travelers.
• Operate point-of-sale systems, process accurate payments, and follow cash-handling policies.
• Follow food safety procedures: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking product temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstations and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products; maintain knowledge of plaza offerings.
• Adhere to brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and carrying of at least 40 pounds.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and comprehending instructions, correspondence, and policy documents; comfortable conversing with customers.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
