Team Member Morning Shift

About the role

You will memorize training material and explain the health benefits of ingredients and food to customers in an upbeat, informative manner. You’ll maintain cleanliness in the front lobby, outside area, and kitchen while preparing food according to proper procedures and following all sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service: be positive, polite, and informative; give accurate wait times
• Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls, and take orders over the phone
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and recipes; follow recipes and prepare food in a timely, sanitary manner
• Prep food according to proper procedures
• Continuously clean the kitchen and lobby
• Put away deliveries and maintain organization
• Wash dishes and put them away
• Communicate with staff to ensure orders are made correctly and on time
• Carry food to customers
• Communicate schedule needs to managers in a timely manner
• Arrive on time and take breaks of appropriate length
• Complete all opening and closing duties
• Perform additional tasks requested by your manager
• Stock and rotate food; track food quality
• Adhere to safety procedures and practice cost-cutting measures
• Work as a team and handle special circumstances
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers

Requirements

• Become food certified
• Ability to use a basic computer, POS system, handle cash, and process credit cards
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements
• Stand for long periods, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly, and maintain a sense of urgency
• Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance
• Come to work with a positive attitude and willingness to work well with others
