Team Member - Meat & Cheese (part-time)

People’s Food Co-op is currently seeking a part-time team member in our Meat & Cheese department. We exist to serve and delight our customers in authentic, hard-to-copy ways—customers who’ve chosen alternatives to mass-market food options and disconnected shareholders.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and stocking product
• Slicing and packaging deli meat
• Assisting customers with product selection
• Answering calls to take orders
• Providing top-notch service

Requirements

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to safely lift 45 lbs.
• Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of the shift
• Ability to engage in bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Schedule

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay

$17 per hour
