About the role
Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago is a people-driven organization. As the largest Goodwill in the world, we are nearly 6,000 employees strong and growing. You want more from your work; you want a sense of fulfillment. You want a career with opportunities, not just a job. You want Goodwill, where the power of work and exceptional customer service can transform your life and the lives of others.
What you'll do
We have multiple roles available across our production, donation, sales, and cashier teams. Depending on your placement, your responsibilities will include:
- Production Associates: Price donations that are then sold on the sales floor. Achieve pricing goals and strategically price donations according to guidelines to maximize mission funding. Maintain efficient flow of donations to ensure a smooth customer service experience on the sales floor.
- Donation Attendants: Greet and thank donors while carefully accepting their donations. Help keep the production area organized by sorting donations as they come in. Deliver excellent customer service to donors and team members.
- Sales Floor Associates: Organize the sales floor to make it easy for customers to find what they're looking for. Serve as ambassadors by providing outstanding customer service and answering questions about Goodwill and our donations. Help customers navigate the store and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Cashiers: Build relationships with customers, accurately ring up sales transactions, and let customers know how their purchases are helping someone get a job. Ensure every customer leaves with a positive impression.
