About the role

This part-time position is available at Store 2747525, located at 5828 South Scatterfield Road, Anderson, Indiana 46013, with flexible shift availability, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:

• Customer Satisfaction: Provides prompt, excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
• Facility Condition: Maintains the store facility’s condition and equipment to Company and/or brand standards by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties.
• Merchandising: Completes build-to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise, receives and verifies vendor deliveries, and maintains adequate stock throughout the store.
• Sales Controls: Controls merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses, and assists in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
• Financial Controls: Keeps accurate cash, sales, and inventory control records and accounts for variances.
• Security Controls: Reports all incidents, including employee or customer injuries, theft, property damage, or improper sanitation or waste disposal.
• Administrative: Keeps accurate records of shift and timekeeping paperwork, may take inventory of supplies and equipment, and attends job-related meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to accurately operate various equipment, including cash registers or scanners.
• Ability to work as scheduled, including arriving on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) preferred.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this job include:

• Ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to waist.
• Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift.
• Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
• Ability to bend and twist at waist, stoop, kneel, squat, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics include:

• Performing approximately 95% of all work indoors.
• Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
• Exposure to occasional noise.
• Working with minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $13.50 to $14.00 per hour.
