Responsibilities
- Delivers guest service that builds real connections, active listening, personal attention, and the small moments that make someone's day
- Hand-crafts beverages and prepares food to standard recipes, customizing to Guest preferences
- Confidently moves between barista, greeter, and any other role the shift calls for, ready to take on whatever task is needed in the moment
- Takes orders and manages the cash drawer accurately, following cash-handling, safety, and security standards
- Keeps the coffeehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked, meeting Caribou's operating standards for quality and safety
- Anticipates what's needed next for a Guest or a teammate and acts on it before being asked
- Makes recommendations to Guests grounded in real product knowledge, not just a script
- Knows the difference between a problem to solve on the spot and one that calls for a leader, and asks for support accordingly
- Takes direction from leaders and understands the team is balancing multiple priorities at once
- Shows up for every scheduled shift on time and ready to go, maintaining reliable, consistent attendance

Skills and Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as the coffeehouse needs
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for coffee, hospitality, and being part of a team
- Preferred: Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience

Pay
Compensation Range: $11.23 – $18.71 per hour. Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations. Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position.
Schedule
Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as the coffeehouse needs.
Physical demands
The physical demands for this position are reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical demands may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
