Job Description

Pay Range: $15.70 - $19.62 / hour

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests
• Provide membership information and facilitate tours
• Complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
• Membership sign-ups, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns
• Affiliate with billing issues and disputes and escalate to leadership when needed
• Regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
• Make and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring they meet customer specifications and maintaining quality standards
• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, AED Training, and Food Handler Certification (if applicable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone
• Excellent team-based communication with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Physical requirements: Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English, Touring the gym: walking and climbing stairs, Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement, Standing for long periods, Computer operations, Ability to lift at least 50lbs

Preferred

• High school graduate or GED
• Customer Service experience
• Bilingual in Spanish
