Team Manager, Collateral Management
About the role
Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) is the captive finance company for one of the world's leading automakers and a mobility provider with iconic brands including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep®, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, Vauxhall, Free2move and Leasys. The Team Manager, Collateral Management, will assist with managing collateral functions to ensure efficient use of company resources and technical capabilities while maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal laws. This role involves handling daily administrative tasks, providing functional training, resolving customer issues, and giving employee feedback.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities and processes related to collateral functions, including alliance partner and dealer repurchases, securitizations, closeouts, and other collateral-related activities.
- Act as a liaison between Dealer Track (FDI) Collateral Management, Custodian Bank, and SFS to ensure titles are catalogued and maintained.
- Maintain quality control of collateral tracking processes according to established policies and procedures.
- Review collateral reports regularly to ensure timely follow-up and recommend additional activity when warranted.
- Perform quality control on work completed by Collateral Specialists.
- Meet company timelines for processing titles and resolving titling issues or escalate to the Department Manager as needed.
- Assist with the retention and destruction of titling documents according to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain department statistics and service levels across various collateral team processes, while assisting with complex collateral issues and questions.
- Maintain confidentiality with access to specified personal information of consumers, including Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a supervisor or manager in the automotive or a relevant industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to write advanced correspondence.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and strong multitasking abilities.
- Ability to lead a team and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- High school diploma and/or GED.
- Overtime required on an as-needed basis.
- Travel 0-10% as required on an as-needed basis.
- Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to Houston, TX.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of title experience and knowledge of DMV documentation requirements, laws, and regulations for motor vehicle titles.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a combination of higher education and experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.

Schedule
- Typically between the hours of 8 AM–6 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed.
- Travel is required up to 10% of the time.
