Team Leader, Shipping & Receiving

About the role
The Team Leader in Shipping & Receiving will lead team members in tasks associated with the shipment and receipt of engines and engine components.
Responsibilities
- Train team members on policies, procedures, work duties, and employee safety
- Administer employee performance reviews, hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions
- Prioritize and assign shipping/receiving workload, including expedited shipments, engine shipments, hardware shipments, STOs, and misdirected shipments
- Schedule overtime as needed to support schedule requirements
- Order and maintain packaging materials necessary to support engine and engine component shipments
- Respond to CARD Actions as necessary
- Obtain and maintain Hazmat Certification (IATA and 49 CFR)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or engineering
- MS Office and ERP system knowledge required; SAP preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Responsible for product safety and the quality of work, including all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed (candidates may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information)
