About the role
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a Team Leader to join their retail store team. This position supports the store's success by embodying the organization's core values of respect, excellence, and integrity, focusing on excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Aids in directing and demonstrating job responsibilities to Production Clerks.
- Displays exceptional customer service by greeting donors and customers, offering assistance.
- Sorts and stocks materials in stores as needed.
- Operates cash registers and performs other tasks as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic math skills, ability to make change, and timely completion of paperwork.
- May serve as a coach in one-on-one training with a Production Clerk(s).
- Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
Physical Demands
- Lights to medium work involving sitting, bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, and frequent repetitive motions.
- Frequent talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Frequent lifting/pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds, and occasional lifting/pushing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform material handling with few restrictions.
- Minimal supervision and ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- No travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location.
