Responsibilities
- Contribute to the achievement of the Multinational Tower business plan.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers and clients within the assigned territory.
- Supervise a team of Underwriters, managing their production and ensuring the maintenance of new and renewal Multinational accounts.
- Manage key performance indicators to ensure desired results are met.
- Support the referral process for underwriting team members.
- Provide guidance to Underwriters for risks that exceed their authority.
- Market and represent all Chubb Multinational segments and business products, focusing on Commercial Accounts with significant international exposures.
- Generate new business opportunities within the territory.
- Underwrite, price, quote, and maintain new and renewal business.
- Implement bound accounts and coordinate implementation activities with Chubb Overseas General group.
- Develop and implement marketing plans with brokers and clients in the territory.
- Liaise with other Chubb production units to identify account expansion opportunities.
- Retain accounts through active participation in Chubb Stewardship process.
- Adhere to Chubb standards on pricing and servicing.
- Participate in product line projects as required.
- Forecast team’s monthly production to the Manager.
- Oversee proper policy issuance and other account agreements execution, including foreign policy implementations.
- Ensure direct reports adhere to all standards and objectives outlined within the Multinational Tower.
Qualifications
- College degree, preferably in business or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience, and 8+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty experience, preferably in international underwriting.
- Knowledge of Controlled Master Programs and international casualty underwriting principles.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills.
- Excellent analytical skills for evaluating and developing Controlled Master Program submissions.
- Strong sales and marketing skills.
- Advanced computer skills preferred.
- Experience as a manager mentoring staff.
- Knowledge and proficiency with technical issues, compliance, coverage, products, and pricing strategies.
Pay
The pay range for the role is $115,000 to $180,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
