Team Leader - Manufacturing

The Team Lead position at Alliance Laundry Systems is an integral part of the production team, responsible for supporting and guiding a group of 8-12 team members under the supervision of a Group Leader (Supervisor).

Responsibilities

• Assimilate and train new team members within their area, serving as the point of contact for new additions.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings to update the team on safety, quality, HR, and production goals.
• Ensure all team members are following safety procedures and obtain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for them when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to generate and support ideas for continuous improvement, and maintain a mindset of continuous improvement in all activities.
• Escalate any production issues or systemic problems to the Group Leader.
• Maintain communication from shift to shift with other Team Leads and Leaders.
• Create, maintain, and audit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics for the area/zone.
• Update and maintain Team Member Standard Work.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You Need To Succeed

• Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
• A genuine people-centric mentality and a heart for servant leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
