About the role
Synergent is seeking an ideal candidate to lead the team responsible for delivering exceptional implementation, conversion, and training experiences for credit union partners. You’ll oversee the strategy, coordination, and execution of training programs, core conversions, mergers, and product deployments—while empowering your team to deliver consistent, scalable, and customer-focused service.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Coaching — Mentor and develop the Implementation & Training team; set clear expectations; promote accountability, customer ownership, and continuous learning.
- Implementation & Conversion Leadership — Oversee conversion, merger, and deployment initiatives; coordinate planning, data validation, system setup, testing, and go-live readiness.
- Training Strategy & Learning Enablement — Direct scalable, engaging training programs for credit union partners and Synergent staff across onsite, virtual, and asynchronous formats.
- Customer Relationship & Escalation Leadership — Build trusted relationships, lead issue resolution, and provide proactive, consultative guidance throughout implementation and support cycles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Partner with Project Management, Client Success, operations teams, and vendors to align priorities and support seamless project execution.
- Operational Oversight & Process Improvement — Monitor workflows and service queues; identify opportunities to streamline operations and strengthen quality assurance.

- Cross-Functional Communication — Skilled at coordinating internal and external resources.
- Business Process Analysis — Proficient in discovery, modeling, analysis, and performance management.
- Technical Systems Knowledge — Understanding of networks, databases, and financial systems; Symitar, loans, general ledger, or payments experience is a plus.
- Training & Facilitation Expertise — Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs across multiple environments.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills — Able to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Technical Proficiency — Comfortable with standard PC programs and learning new systems quickly.
- Organization & Prioritization — Skilled at managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-moving environment.
