About the role
The Team Leader (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic) CCBHC is a key position within the management structure of the project. The Team Leader oversees the therapy team to ensure high-quality service delivery to members, acting as a senior clinician and mentor.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and models evidence-based practices and recovery strategies ensuring adherence to fidelity scales, SAMSHA, and CCBHC guidelines.
- Trains, supervises, and supports therapists, conducting individual and group supervision.
- Follows agency standards for clinical supervision and conducts individual therapy sessions with a caseload of 10-13 individuals.
- Monitors paperwork and ensures the accuracy and timeliness of individual case records according to various regulatory standards.
- Collaborates with community partners and designated agencies, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and monitors member attendance and occupancy.
- Assists with special tasks such as representing the agency at meetings, supervising students, and assisting with the hiring and termination of team staff.
- Conducts annual evaluations and develops goals for team staff, promoting professional development.
- Participates in the hiring process and makes recommendations on team staff.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related field is required.
- Five (5) years of clinical experience providing therapy is preferred.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of group dynamics are required.
- Computer proficiency, including email, electronic medical record navigation, and working knowledge of pertinent software.
Skills/Certifications
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is strongly preferred.
- A valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and daily access to a car are required.
- Experience developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with community stakeholders is essential.

- Competitive salary range: $70,400 - $73,400 annually based on licensure and relevant supervisory experience.

Qualifications
- Ability to work 1-2 evening shifts per week.

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to converse and listen to others and construct clear and concise written communication.
- Knowledge of clinical interventions, evidence-based practices, and trauma modalities.
- Experience developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with community stakeholders.
