Team Leader
About the role
This is an at-will leadership position within a program responsible for the day-to-day supervision of assigned staff and assisting the Program Director in program functions. Essential duties include reviewing and approving time and overtime, managing staff performance, coordinating member services, providing crisis intervention, ensuring member safety, completing paperwork, overseeing documentation, facilitating groups and meetings, and maintaining compliance with meal and rest periods.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve all time and overtime worked daily and at the end of the pay period
- Review and approve all time-off requests
- Manage staff performance
- Coordinate member services within the team
- Provide 24-hour member services coordination
- Visit members periodically for direction and support
- Provide vocational support
- Assist the Program Director with program development
- Provide prompt intervention in crisis situations
- Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of members
- Complete paperwork as assigned
- Sign and approve staff mileage sheets
- Oversee and co-sign documentation for interns, graduate students, and PSCs
- Maintain compliance with meal and rest period rules
- Facilitate groups and community activities
- Facilitate monthly team staff meetings and additional meetings as needed
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience, or a Master’s Degree and 2 years of experience with 1 year of supervisor/management experience, is typically required. A California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance/registration are also required. Reliable transportation capable of passing a vehicle safety inspection is necessary, except for two-wheeled transport such as bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles.

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
