About the role
This is an at-will leadership position within a program responsible for the day-to-day supervision of assigned staff and assisting the Program Director in program functions. Essential duties include reviewing and approving time and overtime, managing staff performance, coordinating member services, providing vocational support, and facilitating groups and community activities.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and approves staff mileage sheets
- Oversees and co-signs documentation for interns, grad-students, and PSC’s
- Ensures compliance with meal and rest periods
- Facilitates group and team meetings
- Provides prompt intervention in crisis situations
- Ensures the safety, health, and wellbeing of members
- Completes paperwork as assigned
Requirements
- A typical way of obtaining the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is through graduation from high school or an accredited GED program and four years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services.
- Optimum preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; four years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services; one year of supervisory/management experience; and active registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC.
Qualifications
- California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance/registration
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old (excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport)
