Summary The Lead Team Member

• Train other team members
• Perform warehouse duties including forklift operation, inventory control, receiving, and shipping
• Ensure accurate and safe shipment of goods to and from the customer
• Lead and support the team in various warehouse functions

What You'll Do

• Assign daily jobs for each team member
• Lead shift meetings
• Monitor stop call waits, proper PPE usage, and assist with questions
• Maintain pre and post-shift checklists
• Understand assigned area and ensure proper operation
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Participate in safety program
• Train new and existing employees on SOPs
• Monitor and correct SOPs for team members
• Create work construction sheets
• Assist with other duties and special projects

What You Need

• A High School Diploma or GED
• College degree preferred
• 5 years of relevant experience, with 3 years in warehouse operations, distribution, and/or logistics
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Visual acuity to see close, long, peripheral, and depth

Pay

$23.00/Hour

5% Shift Premium
