Team Leader

About the role

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a Team Leader to join their retail store team. This position supports the store's success by embodying the organization's core values of respect, excellence, and integrity, focusing on exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assists in directing and demonstrating job duties to other Production Clerks.
• Displays excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers, offering assistance.
• Sorts and stocks materials in stores as needed.
• Operates cash registers and performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills, ability to make change, and timely completion of paperwork.
• May serve as a coach in one-on-one training with a Production Clerk(s).
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Demands

• Lights to medium work involving sitting, bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, frequent repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting/pushing/pulling of up to 20 pounds, occasional lifting/pushing of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform material handling with few restrictions, minimal supervision, rotating schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• No travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location.
