Team Lead - YES - Ontario
About the role
Serving with Compassion, Creativity, and Consistency. The YES Team Lead will support part-time Youth Coaches, other Supervisors, and other staff with providing effective community alternatives to out-of-home placement. The team lead will provide ongoing support, guidance, and input to further opportunities and programming. This individual will ensure efficient and effective operation of the YES program. The team lead is responsible for the development of services, quality of services, and for providing youth, staff and families with appropriate services available. The team lead must display a commitment to strength-based community services and a solution focused approach to supporting children and families. The team lead must be willing and able to engage youth and caregivers in creating workable plans for success. Candidates should be comfortable working with youth within their homes as well as within the community.
Responsibilities
- Effectively develop, implement, supervise, and administer policies, procedures and personnel to accomplish objective of the program.
- Work within all New York State Office of Children and Family Services mandated preventive regulations and maintain a collaborative, working relationship with the county Department of Social Services.
- Continuously maintain and enhance positive relationships with recipients of services as well as other local human service providers that are comprehensive, meet essential regulations, and contract specifications.
