About the Role

The Team Lead role at IEQ Capital is designed to centralize managerial responsibilities within a client service team, empowering fellow team members to focus on service, client relationship management, and firm-level priorities. The Team Lead (TL) supports the client-facing team in strategic planning, communication management, and overall team organization, working closely with the Team Manager to oversee the entire coverage team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day team operations, ensuring tasks and projects are appropriately prioritized and executed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with resource planning, workflow management, and prioritization of teamwide initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Work with internal teams to promote and launch firmwide initiatives.
  • Assign projects or responsibilities as needed to meet deadlines, balance workloads, and address evolving business needs.
  • Support Associates and Senior Associates in all aspects of client servicing, including escalating client items, managing follow-up communication, and overseeing ongoing client projects.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and manage junior team members to promote individual and team growth.
  • Handle HR-related tasks for associates and senior associates, such as approving time off, leading mid-year and year-end reviews, and hiring and interviewing new team members.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of wealth management experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically, anticipate issues, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with operational aspects of business, such as new account openings and disbursements.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Fidelity Investments is a plus.
  • “No task is too small” mentality.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Pay

The total compensation range for this role, inclusive of base salary and bonus, is $135,000–$175,000, depending on skills and experience.
