Team Lead Supervisor Support Warehouse 1st Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Etna, Ohio. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Absorb and provide necessary information, technology, and tools to employees for their job performance.
• Assist in promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience.
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead.
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience.
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience.
• Advanced knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner.

Pay

Weekly Pay
Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour
Overtime: $27.00 per hour when working overtime
Schedule: First Shift Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Friday 6:00am - 4:30pm (must be open to working overtime)
