Team lead / Sr .Net Developer

About the role

The Senior .NET Developer will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of robust .NET applications. This position is responsible for analyzing system requirements, prioritizing development tasks, and writing clean, testable code using .NET programming languages. The developer will create technical specifications and architectural designs, as well as test, debug, and refactor various .NET applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. In addition to hands-on coding, the Senior .NET Developer will support and mentor junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards. The role also involves documenting development and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain project continuity. Staying current with trends in the maritime and logistics industry, as well as project management methodologies, is essential.

• Ensuring compliance with coding standards and technical design
• Working effectively in a team environment
• Being familiar with the latest software development patterns
• Developing technical specifications and architecture
• Reviewing and refactoring code
• Testing and debugging various .NET applications
• Supporting junior developers’ work

Requirements

• Ability to work across multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of modern software design and development methodologies/patterns
• Maintains current knowledge of all relevant technological developments
• Serves as the point of escalation for architecture-related activities
• Proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET Core; C# (C++/MFC is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, threading, dependency injection, asynchronous development
• Knowledge of Azure technologies required (Key Vault, Blobs, Graph API, etc.)
• Expert-level SQL development with strong knowledge of T-SQL, schemas, and performance tuning
• Experience with Entity Framework (Core and Standard)
• Very strong knowledge of WinForms

Qualifications
