About the Role

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while extending the healing ministry of Christ in a community that values the wholeness of each person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly schedules for the assigned unit, ensuring coverage for all scheduled and add-on cases
• Assist with performance appraisals, corrective actions, and counseling
• Provide required documentation for personnel files in a timely manner
• Utilize time effectively and accomplish duties within necessary timeframe with minimal supervision
• Communicate courteously with internal and external customers in person or by telephone
• Demonstrate respect for co-workers and develop positive working relationships with other departments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's of Nursing (Preferred)

Experience

• 1+ year experience as RN in critical care or relevant specialty area (Preferred)
• 1+ year leadership experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse Florida License (RN) (Required)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Required)
• APEX Innovations NIHSS (Required)

Skills

• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite

Schedule

Full time, Night shift

Pay

$32.76 - $57.47
