About the Opportunity

The Team Lead, NSA Intake Coordinator role involves supervising and coordinating the NSA team to ensure high-quality, efficient work that meets production standards for internal and external customers. This position contributes to the organization by promoting compliance, fostering team development, and supporting operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor the NSA team to achieve productivity and quality standards.
  • Participate in business user acceptance training as a resource.
  • Review reports and production data to ensure effective team operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain communication with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance indicators; address trends with Quality Assurance and management.
  • Conduct monthly employee audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with Workforce Management on scheduling and manpower planning.
  • Identify and propose technology and process improvements to management.
  • Manage escalated issues and follow up appropriately.
  • Support hiring, training, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Act as a resource in the manager’s absence for daily team operations.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Uphold the company’s core values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with two years of related leadership experience.
  • Preferred background in managed care or insurance.
  • Relevant licensures or certifications as applicable.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and related software.
  • Ability to travel and professionally manage difficult situations.
  • Capability to motivate and lead a team effectively.

Pay

Salary range is $50,000 to $55,000, based on education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
