About the role

As a Team Lead at our child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners while taking on leadership responsibilities. This role involves teaching, mentoring, and leading in a supportive community dedicated to the growth and well-being of children, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in your care through classroom instruction (at least 50% of weekly schedule).
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow teachers, creating fun and interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Assume duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA (preferred).
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• At least 18 years of age.
