Starting pay for this role is $23.02.

About the role

A day in the life of a Team Lead at Gemini Inc. involves:

• Leading a team to ensure daily production requirements are attained with a focus on quality, delivery, cost, and safety.
• Completing a variety of tasks including record keeping and reporting.
• Providing leadership, oversight, and training to team members to effectively utilize and build on talent, experience, and growth.
• Observing and evaluating work performed by employees to ensure that individual and teamwork performance is acceptable by standards set by the company.
• Coaching employees on strengths and areas for improvements, and assisting with development areas.
• Coordinating staffing and scheduling for assigned department(s), including determining need for overtime and scheduling vacations for employees.
• Filling in or backing up in technical areas of responsibility requiring additional technical knowledge, physical demands, and/or safety-sensitive positions.
• Working in a metal foundry environment, requiring the use of proper PPE to protect hearing and vision, and the ability to physically load and unload materials.

Reports to Plant Supervisor.
