Team Lead, Energy Efficiency Field Team

Duties And Responsibilities

Supervises, coaches, and supports field technicians to ensure high-quality installation and service.
Reviews and QC field technicians audits and ensures energy modeling requirements are met.
Assists leadership team in recruiting and training BPI-certified Energy Auditors to build a skilled team.
Manages verification processes across programs, ensuring assignment selection and documentation completion.
Conducts onsite inspections, creates inspection reports, and addresses any issues identified.
Implements energy audit protocols and QA/QC requirements to enhance program effectiveness.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Reside in a metropolitan areas of Ohio.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in energy efficiency, utility programs, quality assurance role or in consulting, HVAC, or facility maintenance.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • BPI Certified, or willing to obtain within 30 days of acceptance.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building science, construction, energy-using systems, lighting, and audit technologies.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Maintain current auto insurance coverage that meets state requirements.
  • Access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel; ability to travel 25-75% (limited overnight travel).
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Proficiency with SnuggPro, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for senior management.
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $75,000-$85,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
