Team Lead- Coater USA (Crew A)
Basic Job Functions
The Production Team Lead combines the roles of Production Technician (level III) and Team Leader within production operations. The position is suitable for experienced First Solar Associates with technical competence and leadership skills. Key responsibilities include supervising production tasks, providing training, and ensuring quality control.
Education/Experience
A High School Diploma or GED, with preference for an Associate degree or technical certificates. At least 1+ year experience as a Coater Technician I, with a Technician Supervisor recommendation.

Essential Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety procedures and good housekeeping
- Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment
- Complete required training within timeframe
- Provide on-the-job training or coordinate training
- Lead team on job assignments and resolve issues
- Perform assigned duties in accordance with supervisor's direction
- Perform maintenance on equipment with hand tools and instrumentation
- Operate forklift/crane with proper training and certification (if required)
- Monitor process data and make decisions based on procedures
- Recognize and escalate issues requiring attention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for testing and problem-solving
- Collect and report data as requested
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
- Ensure proper inventory levels and waste disposal

- Sit, stand, or walk for up to 12 hours per day
