Team Captain

Duties and Responsibilities

• Helps Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by selecting smoothies and retail products.
• Provides guidance to Team Members when Assistant Managers or General Managers are not available.
• Composes responses under pressure, informing the franchise owner/manager of any problems or significant matters.
• Assists team members at the POS with upselling, voiding, or refunding transactions.
• Ensures the positioning system is used and all team members understand their assigned positions to maintain efficient store operations.
• Manages team members during scheduled shifts, ensuring they are in proper uniform, using minimal phone time, and completing Daily Checklist tasks.
• Sets the pace for speed of service and supports team members in meeting or exceeding goals.
• Fulfills cash handling and inventory reporting responsibilities with honesty and integrity.
• Engages with guests to provide a friendly experience and ensures the Serve To Inspire culture is demonstrated.
• Balances personal life with work schedule, showing up on time, and managing time effectively.
• Talks through and delegates Daily Checklist tasks to team members.
• Willing to take on new tasks and asks for feedback from the franchise owner/manager.

Essential Job Functions

• Leads by example and direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Tolerates exposure to various fresh, dried, and frozen products without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety.
• Follows procedures and adheres to dress code requirements.
• Maintains a clean store and follows food safety regulations.
• Operates a blender and POS cashier system.
• Moves boxes weighing up to 55 lbs throughout the store.
• Positions self to perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and scooping.

Experience Requirements

• Guest Service experience in a restaurant or retail environment for 6 or more months.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried, and frozen products and powdered substances.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to dress code requirements.
• Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system.
• Ability to balance personal life with work schedule.
