About the role

Richmeier Therapeutic Home is a Christian program that emphasizes family values and principles. They are seeking Teaching-Parents for group homes in the Toledo, Ohio area to work with children and adolescents aged 8-18 who have emotional and behavioral issues.

Responsibilities

• Teach, train, nurture, and supervise kids in a family-style setting
• Implement the Teaching-Family model while maintaining licensing, accreditation, and certification standards
• Love and build relationships with children and teens daily

Requirements

• Legally married couples that have been married at least two years without small children prioritized
• Experience and certification as a Teaching-Family practitioner preferred
• Must be 21 or older
• Valid Driver’s license with less than 6 points on record
• Able to physically restrain as trained if necessary
• Able to work long hours and remain positive and pleasant
• Pass mental health assessments
• No criminal record, rigorous background checks
• Flexible, able to receive feedback, maintain loyalty and fidelity to program
• Uphold RTH mission, values, and principles
