About the role
The School of Information Studies (SOIS) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) seeks a Lecturer to teach both face-to-face and online courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. The position is a 9-month instructional academic staff position (Teaching Faculty II).
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Information Science & Technology.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of curriculum and course materials.
- Participate in departmental and university committees.
- Engage in scholarly activities and professional development.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Information Science, Library and Information Science, or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant teaching experience.
- Experience with online course delivery platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $4,000 to $6,000 per semester, depending on qualifications and experience.
