Teaching Faculty/Lecturer
About the role
The School of Information Studies (SOIS) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) seeks a Lecturer to teach both face-to-face and online courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. SOIS offers a variety of programs including BSIST, MSIST, MLIS, and several graduate degree programs.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Information Science and Technology
- Contribute to curriculum development and course design
- Participate in departmental and university committees
- Engage in scholarly activities and professional development
Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Science, Library Science, or related field
- Experience teaching at the college level
- Strong commitment to teaching excellence
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current trends and technologies in information science and technology

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
