Teaching Elder/Pastor: Grace Fellowship Evangelical Presbyterian Church
About the role
The Pastor of Grace Fellowship will be a devoted shepherd who understands, embraces, and cultivates true Christian community. Grounded in a vibrant, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, he will heartily receive and adopt the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms. He will enthusiastically model the EPC ethos of holding fast to the Essentials of Our Faith while extending liberty and charity in non-essentials. He must be a welcoming, compassionate, and emotionally mature leader who connects authentically with our congregation and the Marshall community. As an effective preacher and innovative worship leader, his expository teaching will consistently point believers to their absolute need for God. A protective and collaborative leader, he will work closely with our church staff, Session, and volunteers. He will utilize strong administrative skills to maintain biblical order and establish systems that ensure the congregation is well cared for. His ministry will focus on equipping the saints—helping members develop their spiritual gifts and apply Reformed faith to daily life. Finally, he will carry a deep heart for pastoral care, demonstrating readiness to minister to those in crisis, regularly visit the hospitalized and homebound, and intentionally pursue inactive members with Christ’s love.
