The Role

Support instruction, student support, classroom management, assignment support, and foster learning.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Possess strong math and language arts skills
  • Experience with/interest in working with younger students strongly preferred
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication
  • Positive and encouraging attitude
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Familiarity with the AoPS curriculum is not required, but a plus

Qualifications

Not required prior teaching experience or education coursework.

Schedule

Afterschool and weekend positions available. Minimum initial commitment of about 3 hours per week for each assigned class. Each course meets once per week for 1 hour 45 minutes.

Campus Location

In-person position at our Northbrook location. Candidates must be located in Northbrook, Illinois or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus.
