As a Teacher, you’ll implement our research-backed, accredited curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment while partnering with families, center staff, and leadership to support each child’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Implement KinderCare’s curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each child.
• Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Build strong partnerships with parents to support their child’s care and education.
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Develop positive relationships with families, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors, including assuming low postures to interact with children.
• Ensure the safety of children through keen observation and effective communication in English.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and engage in activities with children.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Pay

$16.35 hourly. In Minnesota, an additional $3.00 per hour premium is provided for all classroom hours worked, funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
