Teachers Assistant On Call

As a Teacher’s Assistant, you will support lead teachers in classroom activities and routines. Assist with care, supervision, and engagement of children. Help create a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment. Prepare materials, set up activities, and maintain a clean classroom. Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to the Surprise, AZ area.
• 1 year of current or recent experience in early care and education or related experience (volunteering, nannying, or weekend nursery work counts).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and confidentiality skills.
• Must complete a pre-employment health appraisal and maintain updated health documentation every two (2) years thereafter in accordance with NAC accreditation standards.
• Able to obtain certifications including Fingerprint Clearance, CPR, TB/Chest X-Ray, and Food Handler’s (we provide support for certification costs).

Pay

$15.68 per hour non-negotiable due to contract rates.

Schedule

Availability to cover shifts as needed between 6:30am-6:00pm Monday through Friday. Program closed weekends.
