Teacher - Title I Intervention (Seasonal)
Job Summary
The Intervention seasonal teacher's primary responsibility is to provide supplemental math and reading services to qualified students in the elementary grades. Essential aspects of the position include thorough planning and preparation, using student assessment results to provide aligned supplemental instruction, creating a positive, motivating classroom environment, providing high-quality supplemental instruction, maintaining accurate records, communicating with other staff, and growing professionally.
Education/Licensure
Licensed to teach K-6 Elementary Education in the State of Minnesota. Experience working with interventions or small groups of students in reading and/or math preferred.
Essential Skills Required
- Work with multiple grade levels in small group reading and math
- Use of many data points to determine students' needs for intervention in one or more of the following areas: reading and math literacy, organizational skills, study skills, social/emotional issues
- Communicate students' needs and levels of proficiency with content class teachers and assist with differentiation and resources
- Understand the Minnesota Academic Standards for content area
- Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and strategic plan of the district
- Inspire and engage all students in relevant learning
- Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff, and families
- Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred
Hiring Information
Hourly Range: $30.75 - $36.20/Hour (Based on the 2025-2027 Faculty Master Agreement - Schedule D Part-Time Hourly Rate)
