About the role
The Department of Special Education at Nassau BOCES is seeking temporary teachers.
Responsibilities
- Experience working with students with learning, behavior, and social/emotional needs
- Strong skills in differentiated instruction
- Demonstrated abilities in data-informed instruction and the Next Generation Learning Standards
Requirements
- New York State Certified Special Education Teachers
- Preferably holding two or more certifications in the following areas:
- Students with Disabilities (Birth-2)
- Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6)
- Students with Disabilities (Grades 5-9)
- Students with Disabilities (Grades 7-12)
