Position Overview

The Padres Baseball & Softball Camps are hiring teachers and coaches to work with youth campers ages 4–13 at their 4S Ranch camp. The position offers a competitive pay rate of up to $23.50 per hour (Professional Educator Rate) and runs from June 8 to August 14, 2026.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead campers through baseball and softball drills and games
• Teach and reinforce fundamental skills such as throwing, hitting, and fielding
• Maintain a safe and organized camp environment
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior
• Provide encouragement and feedback during drills and gameplay
• Recognize teachable moments to help campers grow both athletically and personally
• Work collaboratively with fellow camp staff and leadership

What We're Looking For

• Successful candidates typically have experience working with children ages 4–13
• Comfortable demonstrating baseball or softball fundamentals
• Bring enthusiasm, leadership, and positive energy
• Able to make a 3–5 week commitment
• Have reliable transportation to travel to their assigned camp location
