About the role

The ASTA Group, LLC is seeking a Junior/Mid level teacher for their STEM Academy located in Satellite Beach, Florida. This position is sponsored by Patrick SFB and involves teaching 5th graders about STEM.

Responsibilities

• Teach 5th graders about STEM topics
• Work with students in a 12-month/year-round school year with summer programs
• Willingness to work with youth programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 plus years of experience in elementary education preferred
• Resume showing recent background in physics, chemistry, aerospace science, engineering, robotics or mathematics preferred but all STEM related disciplines will be considered
• Finger print-based national criminal history investigation required with youth programs
• Salary offered is based on the requirement of 3 years experience with a BS degree and does not align with Mid to Senior level applicants. ($62,500-63,400 annual)

Qualifications

• Recent background in STEM related disciplines
• Experience in youth education programs such as tutoring, sports programs, internships, etc.

• Knowledge of STEM subjects
