TEACHER - SPECIAL EDUCATION

About the role

The Special Education Department is seeking an experienced educator to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students based on their unique needs and abilities.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and specialists to provide comprehensive support to students.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license in Special Education.
• At least two years of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse educational setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in using assistive technology and accommodations.

Pay

$51,500.00 - $88,956.00 annually.
