About the Role

The British International School of Houston seeks a well-qualified and experienced Learning Support Teacher to join the Student Support Services Team, with a focus on Middle School-aged students. This role involves supporting students who require short-term learning interventions or those with identified learning differences, ensuring they can access the curriculum through classroom and test accommodations and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning differences or short-term interventions to access the curriculum.
• Implement classroom and test accommodations and strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Secondary School phase and within the Student Support Services Team.
• Maintain excellent communication and flexibility to deliver world-class support.

Requirements

• Experience working with Middle School-aged students.
• Qualifications and experience in learning support or special educational needs (SEN).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
