- Copy of California teaching credential(s) (or equivalent) – Education Specialist Mod/Severe (must have EL authorization)
- Copy of transcripts showing degree conferral
- Copy of test scores as required for credential (e.g., CBEST, CSET, CTEL, etc.)
- Letter from Intern Program dated within 6 months (for Intern‑eligible candidates)
- Letter of eligibility from your University Program Sponsor dated within 6 months (for Intern‑eligible candidates)
- AB2534/SB 848: Provide a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school, private school, and/or state special school previously employed by (including part‑time/substitution work). Do not list individual school sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (from an accredited college/university)
- Education Specialist Teaching Credential – Mod/Severe or Extensive Support Needs authorization AND English Learner authorization
- Attach the detailed CTC document to show credential and EL authorization information

Pay
Salary range: $57,704 – $139,342 annually (depending on education and experience). Maximum entry‑level salary: $121,895.
Schedule
Length of work year: 185 days annually (2026/27 school year). Employment type: Full‑time.
