About the Role

This is a full-time position at Rice Canyon Elementary School for the 2026/27 school year, spanning 185 work days annually. The role is eligible for intern candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Education Specialist Teaching Credential with Mod/Severe or Extensive Support Needs authorization and English Learner (EL) authorization
• Intern-eligible candidates must provide a letter of eligibility from their University Program Sponsor dated within the last 6 months

Requirements

Applicants must submit the following through EdJoin prior to the closing date:

• Completed EdJoin application
• Letter of interest
• Three current professional letters of reference (dated within the last 12 months)
• Resume
• Copy of California teaching credential(s) (or equivalent) showing Mod/Severe authorization and EL authorization
• Copy of transcripts showing degree conferral
• Copy of test scores
• Letter from Intern Program (for intern-eligible candidates, dated within the last 6 months)
• Detailed CTC document to verify credential and EL authorization

Pay

Annual salary range: $57,704 – $139,342, depending on education and experience. Maximum entry-level salary is $121,895. Up to 12 years of maximum service credit may be granted.
