Teacher, Science (Biology) - 1.0 FTE - Shakopee High School
Shakopee Public Schools is seeking a dynamic Biology instructor for a 1.0 FTE position at Shakopee High School, starting approximately August 24, 2026, through November 6, 2026, with the potential to extend as a Building Sub for the remainder of the school year.
About the Role
Provides instruction in the content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, and works collaboratively with other staff members.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in Biology aligned with student abilities.
- Implement multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
- Maintain strong classroom management.
- Build successful relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Requirements
- Current Minnesota teaching license in Life Science 9-12.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and multiple instructional designs.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Effective communication skills.

Pay
Daily rate ranges from $289.00 to $403.76 depending on education level.
