Teacher - PreK Counts

About the role

A Vacancy exists for a Pre-K Counts Teacher to work at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Early Childhood Services. This full-time position provides instruction to children ages 3-5 years old. Vacancies are located at Marlborough Elementary School (1450 Gravel Pike, Green Lane, PA 18054).

Responsibilities

• Implement the curriculum.
• Provide a safe and secure classroom environment that meets the needs of all participating children in the program.

Requirements

• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint Clearances required.
• Experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work in harmony with administrative, instructional, and non-instructional personnel.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required.

• Knowledge of best practices and experience with differentiation.

Pay

Bachelor's/Instructional I: $45,449/year
Master's/Instructional II: $48,509/year

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)
