About the role
We are seeking a full-time PE/Health Teacher or a part-time PE Teacher (20 hours per week) for the 2026/2027 school year. Join a supportive team of professionals in a friendly work environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement content area curricula
- Provide necessary accommodations to meet individual, group, and program needs
- Create a supportive learning environment
- Implement Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Create partnerships with parents and The Katherine Thomas High School Community
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Have or be eligible for MD State Department of Education Physical Education/Health licensure
- Experience with special needs required
Pay
Annual salary range of $64,000 to $82,000 for full-time positions, depending on experience and level of education. Part-time PE Teacher (20 hours per week) salary is prorated to half of the full-time rate.
