Teacher On Assignment Instructional Coach

About the role

The Teacher on Assignment will support student services on campus by providing and coordinating instructional support, identifying student needs, collaborating with related service providers, and drafting and maintaining IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with related service providers and general education staff to implement accommodations and modifications as needed
• Provide input in drafting and maintaining IEPs and Prior Written Notices
• Collaborate with the coordinator in planning and facilitating meetings to support the implementation of effective practices for students
• Coordinate students' schedules to meet state requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• Mild-Moderate Disabilities certification in K-12 teaching
• Certification in one of the following areas (approval from Director of Exceptional Student Services required):
• Special Education
• Behavioral Intervention Specialist
• Speech-Language Pathology
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
