Teacher of Special Education (Tenure Track)

Reports to: Principal/District Supervisor/District Director of Special Education

Job Goal

To follow the approved district curriculum and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth through the use of differentiated instruction; to help students develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Instructional Certification in the appropriate subject matter and level
• Special Education Endorsement
• Successful Criminal History Clearance
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization

Pay

Per BHEA negotiated contract agreement
