Teacher - Music (K-12) position available at Holly Tree Elementary, starting 10/01/2026 for the 2026-27 school year.

About the role

This is a regular 10-month contract with full benefits. By Board Policy 7440, a teacher must remain at the assigned school for three school years.

Requirements

• Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina Teaching License in Music (K-12).
• Official transcripts, teaching license, cover letter, résumé, and licensure test scores (Praxis, Pearson, edTPA, or PPAT) required for application.

Pay

Salary follows the NC Teacher Salary Scale plus a local Board-approved supplement. Supplement amounts vary by years of experience and whether the license area is designated "Hard to Fill" (HTF).

Hard to Fill License Areas: Special Education K12, Speech Language Pathology, School Psychologist, Secondary Math, Secondary Science, Health Science Education (RN/Non-RN/Biotechnology), Scientific Visualization and Game Art Design, Trade and Industrial Education (Construction/Carpentry/Drafting/Automotive Service), Trade and Industrial Education (Digital Media Technology), Engineering and Design Education, Information Technology.
